About Home Club

Home Club provides out of school childcare in a relaxed, homely atmosphere which is available for parents to use on a regular, one-off or emergency basis during term time. The Club shares the Pre-school facility at Coton C of E Primary School, but children using the Club do not have to be pupils at Coton Primary School – all children within the local area aged from 4-14 years are welcome.

Home Club is a registered charity (Reg. No. 1158287).

New Phone Number

For parents who need to contact the setting about changes to bookings or in the event of being delayed collecting children, please note we have a new dedicated phone number to reach us on:  07733 244 390

If you are calling out of Home Club hours then please leave a voicemail with your name and the message for our staff.

It is really important to know if your child is not expected to be at the club or if you may be delayed in picking up. A quick call to let us know will mean our staff are free to support all the children in the setting and not have to chase and call you.

Committee Members Needed

Coton Home Club is a registered charitable organisation that relies on a volunteer committee to over see the running and operation of the Club. We are looking for new members to join either in the role of Treasurer or just to help on the committee and be part of helping steer the club. We would love to hear from any parents interested in being actively involved in the running of the club.

Changes to Fees

Following the AGM in July, the fees for Coton Home Club will be updated from the Autumn Half term onwards. The fees have been fixed for the last couple of years, but with rising costs we will need to implement an increase. We will be contacting parents as we take new bookings about the new charges.

Playworker Vacancy

We have an opportunity for someone to get involved in the sessions as a Playworker on our Monday afternoon slot. If you are interested, please contact us at jobs@cotonhomeclub.org

What goes on?

We are very fortunate to have a talented and experienced staff who care for the children and there is always something going on, such as  regular cooking with Marilyn and other crafts, games and supervised outdoor play. Children’s videos are sometimes shown and are usually popular, as are short periods of time with the Wii!. Healthy drinks and snacks are always available (and are extremely popular with the children too).

Home Club is open every day before and after school.

Home Club can open till 6 p.m. if parents are happy to carry the additional cost and it is booked in advance for the half term. However, we can only do this if there is enough interest from parents, and so it must be organised through our bookings administrator.

Who uses Home Club?

Families who

  • work outside of school hours on a regular or infrequent basis
  • have commitments out of school hours
  • usually collect their children at 3.30 but are unexpectedly delayed
  • have more than one child attending the school and have one child going to an out of school activity (eg sports club) and want their other child to be cared for

and, best of all

  • children who just want to go to Home Club because they simply enjoy it!
